Preschool Instructional Coach
The Hamburg School District is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Preschool Instructional Coach to support the continued growth and success of our early childhood program. This position plays a critical role in strengthening instructional practices, supporting staff development, and ensuring high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all preschool students.
Position Details
- Title: Preschool Instructional Coach
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Position Type: 10-Month Position
- Salary: To be established in accordance with the contractual agreement with the Hamburg Board of Education, as outlined in the Preschool Expansion Grant
Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and valid New Jersey Teacher Certification
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience teaching in preschool programs
- Demonstrated experience providing professional development to classroom teachers
- Experience implementing developmentally appropriate preschool curricula
- Experience with performance-based preschool assessments
Certification Requirements
In accordance with New Jersey regulations, candidates must hold one of the following certifications:
- Preschool through Grade Three (P–3) Standard Instructional Certificate; or
- Standard Elementary School Instructional Certificate, along with the equivalent of two (2) academic years of full-time experience teaching three- and four-year-old students in a position requiring the Preschool through Grade Three endorsement; or
- Standard New Jersey Nursery School Instructional Certificate; or
- Preschool through Grade Three endorsement in addition to another standard instructional certificate, except as indicated at N.J.A.C. 6A:9-11.2 and 11.7

Anticipated Elementary Education Teacher
Hamburg School is anticipating an opening for a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our team of educators. We are seeking a professional who is committed to fostering academic excellence and supporting the development of each student in a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. Salary to be established in accordance with the contractual agreement with the Hamburg Board of Education.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
- Ability to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Substitute Teacher: $125 per day
